Military Service  First Lieutenant,  45th Mississippi
                            Taken prisoner at Murfreesboro, January 5, 1863. 
                            He was a resident of Salem,  Mississippi at the time of his capture. 
                            Did not escape the Maple Leaf.  
                            Also served in the 3rd Battalion Mississippi.
                            After the war he moved to Farmington, Missouri.
